Resources

In a recent update to my educational books and resources, I posted a link to magnetic letter tiles and a whiteboard and pen set. It is just to highlight that these resources are helpful for little ones when accessing the literacy element of my educational books, but they are not a necessary buy.

We use these types of resources in the classroom to boost retention and understanding of how words are decoded and built, but the books alone will give children confidence with these skills.

There are now three numeracy booklets to help children acquire the necessary understanding and skills when working with numbers to 10 and 20, with early elements of addition and subtraction. Then there is a fractions and time booklet, which helps children to come to know and understand these topics, too.

There will soon be five literacy booklets that guide your child through the alphabet, initial sounds and common words associated. These are part of a 4-book set and will engage your child in learning the sounds and letter names. Then there is a fifth book which focuses on high-frequency words and sentence building and is sure to help your child feel confident in their abilities to begin to write with more independence. Writing is always challenging, but with a gradual increase in sounds and word recognition, children will have the necessary elements to begin the journey to writing with more independence and detail. Turn a love of literacy into a skill of reading and writing.
