I am excited to share that my new Scottish fantasy book is now live and available for purchase. This book is a labour of love, the first where the plot and characters have been driven solely by my imagination. While I’ve incorporated elements of Scottish and Celtic mythology and folklore, the characters and world I’ve created are entirely my own.

My love for Historical Fiction is deeply ingrained in my writing process. I thoroughly enjoy researching and incorporating history into my novels, a passion that has guided me and inevitably structured my plot and themes. This love for history, combined with my daily readings of children’s fiction to my class, has honed my skills in creating characters and plots that resonate with readers of all ages.

A Curse of Power is a project that I hold dear. I constructed the characters, themes, and plot from its humble beginnings to its exciting conclusion, and this felt like a profoundly rewarding experience for me. I had created something from scratch, using mythology and folklore to help shape my characters, and I had crafted a world with intrigue and darkness, war and peace, and danger at every turn. As I step into a world created from my own ideas and vision, I feel a deep sense of pride. I hope the readers of this book, the first in the series, will love it just as much as I do.
