It’s been a hectic time lately, and I haven’t provided an update in some time. All of my books, novellas, Scottish Fantasy, and Supernatural Historical Fiction novels have been recorded as audiobooks and are available on Audible. My children’s series, The Curious Tales of Grim, is also in audiobook production and is now available in paperback.
Every book is available in Kindle format as part of Kindle Unlimited, as well as in paperback. My longer novels are also available in hardcover. All of my titles are available on Amazon, and my books are also accessible through Ingram Sparks, which means they can now be ordered and purchased in bookstores worldwide. Links to my books can also be found on my website.
I’ve been rebuilding my brand, taking into consideration the universe I have created in both my Triquetra and The Blood and Power series. As the themes grow and overlap between these worlds, I have streamlined my narratives to create a link and a crossover that will continue going forward.
The Aelban Universe (The Realms of Shadow and Flame)
What unites the worlds to create the Aelban Universe?
Earth (flame) – featured in The Triquetra series (primarily in the past but moving into the modern era with A Coven Reborn)
Earth with a portal to Aelba (shadow – as in Shadow Lands) – featured in The Blood and Power series set in modern day.
Mythic Root: Both series descend from the same ancient Gods; The Tuatha Dé Danann. The Blood and Power Series has direct correlation with the original Gods: Dagda, Nuada, The Triple Goddess Brigid, Aengus and Lugh.
The Triquetra Series has direct correlation with Brigid, Goddess of fire with whom their powers are bestowed. Later Aengus – Swan family name derived from his association to swans.
Artifacts: The Spear of Lugh (Blood and Power series) and the Triquetra talisman (Triquetra series) are ‘sibling relics’ forged in ancient history with Brigid and Lugh (Tuatha Dè Dannan) unlocking unity in different realms. Both forged in fire, The Spear of Lugh and The Triquetra Talisman bestow great power and wisdom from the original Tuatha DéDanann Gods.
Prophecy Arc: Each series tells a different aspect of one long prophecy — blood, power, oath and ancient artefacts)
Same-world, different eras: One series is ‘ancient myth/history,’ (Triquetra series) the other is ‘modern descendants’ (Blood and Power series)
Converging timeline: They start separately but are destined to overlap with the final Blood and Power book, A Curse of Oath and the fourth book of the Triquetra Series, A Coven Reborn. A final book will reveal the true unity.
Readers of one series will hopefully pick up the other — same universe, different perspective with small cameos, shared lore, recurring symbols (Triquetra, Spear, Power and Oath).

By creating this universe, the books fall into a natural timeline spanning centuries but bringing the heartbreaking truth of Scotland’s past into a future that promises unity and peace.
I’m excited to write the next few books and with the release of A Curse of Blood, book 2 of The Blood and Power series later this year, the universe I hope to create is coming closer to fruition.
The Triquetra series will naturally lead to the 1692 Salem witch trials, in book 3, A Coven Cursed, before arcing into modern day with book 4, A Coven Reborn.
