And Celebrating Neurodiversity! It’s a significant milestone for me with the release of my 15th book, The Turtle Boy. It’s a tale about Leo, a young boy learning to navigate school, but he finds it somewhat challenging as he realises his mind is wired differently. With the help of his teachers, parents and newfound friends, he finds his own way to swim.
The Girl Behind the Mask also celebrates neurodiversity as we meet Sophie, the girl behind the mask. Sophie has hidden her true self for so long behind a mask, acting and saying all the right things to fit in with her peer group. But the pressure of keeping up appearances is exhausting, and when a new friend joins her class, her true self begins to break through the mask and shine.
My Cosy, Christmas Romantasy is finding its audience and the reviews so far have been so positive. It’s a novella, a shorter fantasy book compared with my other titles, but it has been praised for being warm and tender and capturing the simple magic of the festive period. The connection between the main characters is described as being felt on every page. ‘A story that slips into your heart like the first snow of the season and settles there quietly, beautifully.’
Please check out my other titles; there is something for everyone!
