Today I thought I would do a little update on my novels and how each series now links and has become part of a larger universe spanning time and space.
How the universe came to be…
A Coven Reborn marks the beginning of a new story set within the wider world of the Triquetra series. It will be book 3 of this series, but it will seem familiar with the return of Eliza.
While this novel stands on its own, it is deeply connected to the events and mythology established in A Curse of Power, A Curse of Blood, and A Curse of Oath. Readers familiar with those books will recognise the realm of Aelba, the legacy of ancient magic, and the echoes of choices that continue to shape both worlds.
A Coven Reborn is a story that moves between 1690s Salem and present-day Ayrshire, Scotland, following a different thread of the Triquetra — one rooted in witchcraft, inheritance, and survival rather than crowns and courts as in the Blood and Power series. It explores how magic endures through bloodlines, secrecy, and remembrance, and how the past is never as distant as it appears. Eliza is the main protagonist who drives the narrative.
New readers are warmly welcomed here. A Coven Reborn can be read without prior knowledge of the Triquetra trilogy, though those who have walked the series books that came before may find added meaning in the connections that unfold with Aelba.
This is not a return to war — but a return to memory. Not a continuation of prophecy — but the awakening of what was hidden.
Every world has more than one story. This is another of Aelba’s.
Where to Start – A Reader’s Guide
The stories set within Aelba can be accessed from multiple paths.
Each series stands on its own — but together, they form a larger tapestry of myth, magic, and inheritance. Choose the path that suits how you like to read.
However, if you love witches, history, and modern awakenings, start with The Triquetra Trilogy.

A Coven Lost is the first book in the Triquetra Trilogy and follows the early period of the witchcraft trials in Ayrshire, Scotland, in 1618. The Coven is well established and revered, but betrayal burns from within.

The Last Coven sees the ancestors of the Triquetra Coven trying to reestablish their history and magic whilst being hounded and persecuted by the Church in the second period of the deadly witchcraft trials of 1650.

A Coven Reborn completes the series that moves between 1690s Salem and present-day Scotland, following a hidden coven and the legacy they fought to protect.
This story introduces Eliza, whose journey into Aelba begins not with crowns or prophecy, but with inheritance, memory, and awakening magic.
Best for readers who enjoy: witchcraft and covens, historical and modern dual timelines, Witch trial-era tension with quiet, character-driven magic.
No prior reading is required, but it will shape your understanding of the trials that defined the darkest period of Scotland’s history.
If you want the full experience, read in timeline order: A Coven Lost, The Last Coven, A Curse of Power, A Curse of Blood, A Curse of Oath, then A Coven Reborn.
This allows you to experience Aelba first through myth and rule — and then through memory and magic — as the world widens rather than repeats itself.
If you prefer myth-inspired, fantasy-driven novels, approaching the books in my Blood and Power series might suit some readers better.

The Blood and Power series begins with A Curse of Power and Mae, who is trapped in an unfulfilling life, longing for charmed and imagined worlds—ones where magic reigns, kingdoms rise and fall, and a dashing Lord might just sweep her off her feet. What she found instead was a curse—and a destiny she never saw coming.
When a Mae is thrust into a fantastical Fae realm of Aelba, eerily reminiscent of the books she once used to escape her pain, she must confront ancient magic, unexpected destiny, Fae Court politics and the truth about who she really is—before the curse binding her new world consumes them both.

Tasked with restoring peace to a fractured kingdom, Maela’s journey takes her deep into enemy territory to confront the tyrannical Trow King. To succeed, she must unlock the secrets of her ancestors’ mystic treasures with the power to turn the tide of war.
But as battle looms, Maela is torn from those she loves and captured by a legendary beast whispered about only in myth. A beast who holds the key to her lost past… and possibly her heart.

When the wards of the Great House shudder at dawn, Maela hears a voice: Little sovereign… You opened the door. Its presence feels familiar. Hungry. Patient. And it knows her true name.
As the council scrambles to understand the growing disturbances, Maela’s closest allies begin to fear what this awakening might mean. But ancient forces have begun to stir—ones the rite did not heal, but roused. A prophecy older than Aelba is waking, and a new Goddess of both dark and light who can command both realms is prophesied… The Nicnevin!
This is where the crossover between the Blood and Power and the Triquetra series occurs, as we find Eliza suddenly in Aelba, who holds the key to understanding the rising threat.
Important to Know
You do not need to read the full Triquetra trilogy to enjoy A Coven Reborn.
Reading the trilogy first will deepen certain moments, but nothing essential is withheld.
These stories are connected by world, not obligation.
Every path leads to Aelba. You choose how — and when — to walk it.
